“After breaking my arm in a skiing accident in 2014, I lost a lot of confidence in using the gym. I was running a lot but needed some professional guidance to keep progressing. I have known Tom since attending his infamous HIIT classes at Horfield Leisure Centre and found them not only brilliant fun and motivating, but they pushed me to try using the gym again too. I then started PT sessions with Tom in September 2019. I now feel confident using my arm in the gym, and at using the gym when I’m on my own. Before, walking into the weights area was something I just wouldn’t do and now I feel confident not just to use the weights, but also to push myself and constantly try to improve my technique guided by Tom.
